Who We Are…
Ford Basketball Academy is more than basketball training. We are a basketball development organization built to develop players, educate coaches, and support families throughout their basketball journey.
We believe basketball development goes far beyond learning how to dribble, pass, or shoot. Our purpose is to develop the complete athlete—their skill, basketball IQ, decision-making, confidence, leadership, character, and understanding of the game. At FBA, basketball is the vehicle, but developing knowledgeable, confident, and high-character people is the bigger purpose.
What We Do…
FBA provides a complete basketball development pathway through individual and small-group training, camps and clinics, competitive teams, and educational resources for players, coaches, and parents.
For athletes, we teach the skills and concepts needed to become more complete basketball players. For coaches, we provide drills, concepts, film breakdowns, systems, and educational resources to help them continue to grow in their craft. For parents, we aim to provide greater understanding of the development process so they can better support their athlete's journey.
Everything works together toward one goal: creating a better environment for long-term basketball development.
How We Do It…
We teach the game—not just the drill.
Inspired by the development-centered approach found throughout European basketball, FBA prioritizes long-term development, game understanding, decision-making, and purposeful competition over short-term results. Our athletes aren't simply taught how to perform a skill—they are challenged to understand when, where, and why to use it.
Through game-like training, small-sided games, film, guided decision-making, purposeful repetition, and competitive experiences, we create environments where athletes are constantly learning, thinking, adapting, and solving problems.
Because we believe development doesn't happen in isolation, that same philosophy extends to our coaches and families. When players, coaches, and parents are all learning and growing together, we can create something much bigger than basketball training.

Our StoryFord Basketball Academy was founded on the belief that basketball development should be about more than running drills, playing games, or chasing short-term results. FBA was built to create an environment where athletes are taught the game, challenged to think, and given the tools to grow both on and off the court.
Inspired by development models used throughout European basketball, we set out to build something different. In this academy, skill development, basketball IQ, decision-making, competition, character, and education all work together. As FBA continues to grow through training, camps, clinics, competitive teams, and basketball education, our purpose remains simple: develop better players, empower better coaches, support families, and positively impact the game of basketball.
